Am I the only one that loves all the outdoor activity that late spring and summer bring? And I am so grateful and so enamored to live in Wichita – it’s such a vibrant city with many markets and fairs, and it’s super close to so many farms. We live in the perfect spot to support small businesses and farmers.
So, we gathered together all the information for local farmers markets, farms to visit, and pick-your-own orchards and fields. Make sure to refer back to this list often throughout this summer. And who knows, maybe you’ll see us at one of the family-friendly events!
*All events and berry picking has been confirmed by phone call on 5/5/2021*
Meadowlark Farm Orchard & Cidery is a pick your own peach and apple orchard and strawberry & pumpkin patch located 25 minutes east of Wichita, KS. Folks who love fresh ripe apples, strawberries and peaches visit our farm to pick their own fruit and enjoy or own hard apple cider made at the farm. Our farm provides a family friendly, safe and educational local food experience and has become a gathering place for families who enjoy the outdoors and appreciate local food and drink. In 2021, we are adding live local music on Saturday afternoons.
The fruits we have to pick vary with the season and the weather. Check our facebook page for timely updates on fruit ripeness, music and special events. Please like us on Facebook and visit our webpage for more information.
